Little info about Celtic design,

Square Knot Tile
Meaning: this Celtic Knot originally came from a border knot from the "Book of Kels" Shich has been shortend to fit this application. It can sometimes be viewed as a stylized of infinity.

Trinity Knot Tile

Meaning: enternal faith, hope and love. the circle represents enternity, also an ancient norse rune of protection.

During my X'mas visiting, I also found a photo of my painting I did for SPCA Show a year ago(or two?). Now the painting is belong to a friend of mine, Dan Halle :)

Watercolor practice

It's been a while~
Since both of my computer and camera dead on me, I haven't post anything new.
Thanks my good friend Nicole let me use her computer. I can finally update my blog :)
Those were my paintings from watercolor classes and I enjoyed the classes very much. Now I playing with acyclic and didn't really figure out how to mix the color well. If you have some good tips, Please let me know.

Silk screen printing 1

Silk screen printing project I did last week. I picked one of Mike's design (http://milkteets.blogspot.com) and it turned out really well. We are happy to see the result and planning to make more products.
I can't wait to make some cute T-shirts :)

mushroom fairy

This was something I draw for fun. I had watercolor again yesterday and we were painting sky. It was hard to control the amount of water. I didn't make sky I really like. So...next time :)

New watercolor class just started two days ago. I want to learn more tech of watercolor and started from the beginning.

1.Green Fairy

Playing with round brush and use sponge to create texture for bg color

2. Funny Jellyfish

Playing with wet on wet for jellyfish's body and add feet by dry brush.

It’s time to fix the scanner. Suddenly, there are several whine lines when I scan stuffs.
Well, I post some coffee sketches, rough drawings and animal drawings.
I may clean up some of them and put them in colors…Thinking of drawing some fairies for Spring time, tooJ

Made in Taiwan Part 2

One side is diamond and the other side is W.M Amor.
My sister Jamie's 1st try. Nice cute ring with radom beautiful lines.
My mushroom pendant was covered with smooth mirror surface and curly texture.
My teacher thinks it's a evil mushroom and it's alive. Haa..
Leaf pendant I made for my mom. I am still looking for the perfect Pearls or jem stone to go with it.

This was my 1st silver jewelry piece, Key pendant.
It's harder to make than you think. I had to combined 5 pieces together then add texture on the heart and added ring.

I was experiencing wax jewelry making..really hard to control those tools:P

Finally I post some silver jewelry I made in Taiwan. I joined a short silver clay class when I visited Taiwan. Silver clay is great medium to use. I was a great and fun experience.
